Harry Truman once said that giving voters the choice between a real Republican and an ersatz Republican (meaning a Democrat who bent too far toward the Republican line trying to gain conservative votes), the electorate would choose the real Republican. We may have the opportunity in Wisconsin to see if Republicans prefer the fascism-lite of Paul Ryan or the real deal in Nehlen. I wouldn't put a dollar on the proposition either way.
