What's our plan?

Last edited Wed Dec 20, 2017, 10:20 PM - Edit history (1)

I have to wonder. I personally did not see much if any talk among friends, families, co-workers and acquaintances here and there, in life, or social media decrying the tax bill. No interest whatsoever. I admit my circles are not as politically tuned but they do pay attention. Is it burnout? Have we screamed so much people do not notice anymore? Are so many Americans, and even some who voted Democrat, memories so short and concerns so easily satisfied by empty promises of more take home pay, and other promises that come with a hefty price tag?

Seems like when an election gets hacked/stolen, and it seems impossible that a criminal buffoon could win, the shock lasts a long time - people can't believe it, including the Democratic politicians.

That's part of it. The other part is the impact of the massive brainwash job by right wing hate radio and much of the MSM (sure they are waking up now, but they are complicit - sure they are).

So - we are in uncharted territory. I don't really think there is a plan at this point - and that is terrifying. I've been terrified since the election night crime.

Carlin was right. We cannot be compliant or they will continue their assault on us. This is their tactic for the masses to just back down.

I will not do this:

Everyone will be getting a higher paycheck and will be paying less taxes next year. Taxes are not popular.

The negatives are in the future and are harder to visualize. I feel the media handled this poorly. I feel Dems had difficulty framing an argument against it.

I think it is awful and am heartbroken.
