Suggestion: Write to your Congresscritters, whoever they may be.

My representatives are loyal, liberal Democrats, so I usually write to them only where there's some question in the balance, urging them to take the strongest action available.

It's worth writing them at times like this, as well. I just sent emails encouraging them to keep up the fight, continue representing their constituency, and resist, resist, resist -- with thanks.

There's much more to say if you have Republican Congresscritters, but even if yours are Democrats, it's worth two minutes to let them know you appreciate their opposition and want them to keep fighting.

Each of our voices is small, but it's all we have individually -- and collectively, it adds up.
