in this country but my parents are from India. I remember going to India at the age of 19 about 15 years ago. It was my first time over there. I remember when going through the cities and villages I noticed how everybody was dirt poor and how there wasn't really a middle class. It was either your rich or your poor and that was it. I visited some rich people over there and they lived like kings. If you were rich your life was great but if you were poor it sucked ass. After making those observations I started thinking deeply how India is a democracy but life sucks over there. They have corrupt politicians that can easily be bought off and controlled by the rich. I then had a revelation at that young age which was democracy doesn't guarantee a middle class or protects you from economic inequality. It also made me believe that US could be vulnerable to the same type of corruption that goes on in India. What's going in the US is what has gone on throughout the world when it comes Democracy being corrupted. We are just now unfortunately experiencing it.

add something even more depressing to it which is my parents for my whole entire life would always trash India's politicians. They would remark at how they are more corrupt than American politicians. I remember asking them about a few weeks ago growing up if they had found any Indian prime minister more corrupt then Donald Trump and they laughed and said no. To me it's another sign that we are unraveling.

headed, unfortunately. Very astute observation about what could happen here in the US under too much corruption.

9. We need to find some people in Russia that are actually happy, and find out how they do it.
