Things came to a boil over the summer, when the Turkish government reportedly issued an arrest warrant for Kanter, to which he replied on Twitter (translated from Turkish), "You cannot catch me. Hahaha. Don't waste your energy. I am already going to come to [Turkey] to spit on all of your ugly, hate-filled faces."

Now Turkey's state-run news agency, Andalou Agency, says that the country is seeking more than four years in prison for Kanter on charges of insulting the president.

I think his media strategy require his attackers to
be media worthy or he would have to work much harder for
broadcast and print space. It would be hard to take credit for
results gained through a discussion you were not even part of.

Seems like he gets more attention from bad media than good.
maybe a better strategy would be to change minds instead
of depending on a victory in that ring. I don't care how many
times a team gets beat on the field, the fans remain loyal.
