Im hoping our Democratic Party finally sees the need to grow a spine after this republican
assault and battery on the American populace. Any elected dem who thinks trying to appease a fascist, narcissistic asshole who is leading a criminal cabal (aka: the Republican Party) is a winning plan needs to get medical intervention.
The people who are running and ruining this nation don’t see it as a republic based in democratic principles, a shining city on a hill or even a harbor for bold and exciting thought. they see it as a thing to enrich themselves through criminal action covered under the guise of legal language. The result is the same if a criminal pulls a gun or a law book on you.
This is no different than when King Charles gave special tax considerations to the corporate tea monopoly which became the fuse that lit the Revolutionary war. If our erstwhile democratic legislators still think they can mitigate, moderate and mold a reasonable response from these malefactors need a history lesson. Their apparent success will only embolden them now.
They will see that nothing is impossible if you realize your political career is tied to an orange haired titanic. They know they are going down, so they will take everything they can to the bottom with them. It’s time dems grow a spine and be that Iceburg Right Ahead.
