to begin within hours of firing Mueller. Dems have been hearing "rumors" that it will happen over Winter Recess. What will this accomplish? First of all The Resistance will get media coverage. That scares the GOP because it isn't fake news propaganda. It also empowers others...we are pissed off after the past year of shit! We need to vent and let the GOP know that we hate what they have done to the US and they own everything tRump. And another important part of these protests is to let the GOP know that we WILL NEVER FORGET, LET ALONE FORGIVE THEM for killing our country through Taxes, no ACA and aiding and abetting corruption and treason.
Here are links to check out for ALL of the events, protests planned if he fires Mueller. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!

We must have.

They would say.

I'm not sure "taking to the streets" would work this time?

Impeachment will still be the only solution, and taking it to the street will not make that happen.

I encourage those who want to "take to the streets" to do just that, starting now, to convince everyone to go to the polls and correct this next November. That's where to put all that pent-up energy.

It energizes and maintains momentum.
It's an opportunity enlist people to register voter and get out the vote. (And to make sure everyone in attedence is registered to vote.

What if every attendee committed to finding and registering one non registered voter?

Seems to me that with some thought, meeting in the street (no violence) could be put to very good use.

In recent history, street activism has served to divide more than unite. That's true on both a micro and macro scale. The Occupy Wall Street movement disintegrated because EVERYONE was a leader with a different set of primary goals. The only people who were organized were the Black Bloc disrupters, frankly.

Street activism works only when it is focused on the real problem. If there is fragmentation, it works not at all.

You want a voter registration drive that works? Talk to the folks at your local Democratic Party organization. They've been registering voters for decades. Do you want people to go to the poling place on Election Day or vote early? You'll have to go find them by walking door to door and convince them to do that.

Go find a bunch of people who "took to the streets" in 2016. Poll them on whether they voted last November. You'll discover that their turnout was just about the same as the general population.

I've been a street activist. I've also been a person who has worked with the party organization. Guess what? The second option worked way better for building voter turnout. Way better.

Maybe you should ask the unprecedented number of women political candidates if the women's march accomplished anything.

I will be taking to the streets, and I will be working the 2018 campaigns, and I will be contributing my money, time and effort to get Democrats elected in 2018.

None of these things are mutually exclusive.

13. The Women's March

"But our rally wasn't the end of the evening, and the women's march won't be the end of the opposition to Trump and Congressional Republicans. This movement is more than a moment. Making our voices heard on the street is critical, but then we must harness that energy in a way that can make lasting change. And we will. After the rally, we hosted a training to help people who are new to advocacy find meaningful ways to get involved and plug into groups that are already doing the concrete work to advance justice in their communities. Across D.C., other organizations did just the same before and after the march."
