Voters hate the Republican tax scam, the most unpopular major legislation to pass in decades. Voters hate it despite major spending by Republican groups to promote it, but hey, the Koch brothers are going to have a lot more money thanks to this bill, and they’re willing to spend some of it trying—again—to put lipstick on this pig.

Conservative groups led by billionaire industrialists Charles and David Koch are beginning a multimillion-dollar public relations campaign ................

They already spent $20 million and ended up with just 33 percent support for the bill. They face long odds in moving the needle on this one, but this is a good reminder of how Republicans win. They invest, they don’t stop between elections, and they have an endless supply of billionaire cash. ..............
