Bannon called Trump 'an 11-year-old child': report

President Trump's former chief strategist Stephen Bannon referred to the president as an 11-year-old child during a conversation with a friend last month, according to Vanity Fair.

Bannon also reportedly commented on the effect the presidency had on Trump during a conversation with advisers, saying that 11 months into the post, the president had “lost a step.”

The report comes as special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russian election meddling zeros in on those close to the president during and after the campaign.

Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn plead guilty last month to lying to the FBI, while his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and business associate Rick Gates were charged with 12 counts, including conspiracy against the U.S.
