Don McGahn?

Is he singing like a canary?

For months, he has not said a word to contradict anything out of the White House or from the Trump team. He appeared to be working very closely with Trump to protect the White House?

But now, he is saying that he told Trump about General Flynn immediately after Sally Yates reported her concerns to the White House. But Trump did nothing. He kept Flynn in his position for another 18 days.

McGahn seems to be saying a lot about that time in the White House. And what he is saying does not reflect positively on Donald Trump.

This is another piece to the puzzle.

White House Counsel Knew in January Flynn Probably Violated the Law

Don McGahn was looking at whether the national security advisor violated federal laws just days after Trump moved into the White House.

Murray Waas

The White House turned over records this fall to special counsel Robert Mueller revealing that in the very first days of the Trump presidency, Don McGahn researched federal law dealing both with lying to federal investigators and with violations of the Logan Act, a centuries-old federal law that prohibits private citizens from negotiating with foreign governments, according to three people with direct knowledge of the confidential government documents.

The records reflected concerns that McGahn, the White House counsel, had that Michael Flynn, then the president’s national security advisor, had possibly violated either one or both laws at the time, according to two of the sources. The disclosure that these records exist and that they are in the possession of the special counsel could bolster any potential obstruction of justice case against President Donald Trump.

The records that McGahn turned over to the special counsel, portions of which were read to this reporter, indicate he researched both statutes and warned Trump about Flynn’s possible violations.

8. I think Mueller is about ready for 2 or 3 more indictments?

When there are that many indictments and people pleading guilty, it makes it much more difficult to fire the Special Counsel or to call the investigation a "hoax".

and Congress fully knows it.

The American public is out of the loop and all we can see are the odd events occurring this week.

Both Mueller and Trump are considering moving some chess pieces.

Meaning that dynamic is going both ways right now.

And Mueller is a professional law man.

If this were a movie, this part might get interesting.

The feelings being generated are triggering emotional memories.
And we try to liken current events to something known.

Kind of tells you where the country is right now.

And the President is seriously mentally ill, incompetent, quite limited intellectually, and poses further danger via his rash judgement and behavior. And Nazis and racists in power.

I am glad my father, career military and combat veteran of three wars, is not alive to see this.
