he tried to advise Trump that Flynn's contacts with the Russians were possibly illegal. However, because he's the White House counsel and not Trump's personal attorney, communications between him and Trump are not protected by the attorney-client privilege. So he has to answer the investigators' questions truthfully and completely if he wants to keep his law license.

She made that analogy and frankly wasn't too kind in her tone towards Dean when she mentioned him. So sorry I missed Dean on CNN. It's so close to home for him.

Hey, I thought you were going to watch a movie or sumptin"! Can't peel away from tonight's nooz, huh?

And he had already met with them and testified when the announcement was made that Flynn had pleaded guilty.

Then Mueller agreed to postpone his next meeting with McGahn, acknowledging that McGahn might need some additional time to prepare, given the Flynn announcement.

Which might have been a way to give McGahn a chance to consider whether he should change his testimony, in light of Flynn's decision to cooperate.

says the the WH Counsel's office feels its being scapegoated. That certainly could be a reason someone leaked info to Waas.
