I hadn't thought about it in these terms, as the day to day stuff is staggering.

It is as bad or slightly worse than I thought it would be, but it is different than I thought it would be. I thought he would quiet down with the dog whistles and attacks. He would then go about enriching himself and buddies on the down low.

In the end it has the same effect, but has an added "screw you" to American Citizens and legal residents, as well as the world at large.

But I woke up the morning after the election with a pit in my stomach that hasn't really gone away.

I was hoping our national parks and public lands would escape his notice, I was wrong. The budget is terrifying to me because it defunds the national wildlife refuge fund and also opens up sensitive areas to oil and gas exploration. We need our public lands and must preserve them at all costs.

People are waking up, people are finally tuning in to how government works and how it affects them. I think this will translate to a blue revolution in 2018, if we can just get up more times than we are knocked down.

But I feel like with the things Mueller and the FBI are doing there is something to hold onto. I don't remember there being anything like that during the W years. I do think this "administration" is doing more wide and long lasting damage than the W admin. did.

I figured it would be at least this bad, if not worse. Although, we probably are not aware of just how bad it has been. I doubt we're being told everything.
