GOP Requested Emergency Meeting with FBI Deputy Director McCabe Yesterday & "Something big happened"

The GOP Requested an Emergency Meeting with FBI Deputy Director McCabe Yesterday.

Something big happened in this meeting.

Rep. Elijah E. Cummings would not elaborate but said:

"Like Sally Yates, Robert Mueller and many others, Deputy Director McCabe is a guardian of democracy"

2. McCabe corroborated Comey's testimony of Trump's attempt to obstruct justice

McCabe was in the loop all along about the Comey/Trump interactions. Also so far it seems that McCabe didn't give them any ammunition for their attempts to politicize and cast aspersions on Comey and Mueller probe.

with us, but families are suffering out here. We're scared and have been for a long time. From where I sit, this could go either way and I feel so helpless as I depend on the few patriots who are speaking out to save our democracy. We have 435 members of the house and 100 senators -- where are all the patriots?

Lord knows what it is they feel they need to prioritize, but I guarantee that we the people are not on the top of the list.

They were behind closed doors strategizing their questions and responses.

They were obviously not ready for what happened.

enough about the investigation (as opposed to bitcoin) for his musings to be worth reading on DU is an open question. Perhaps he made some contacts when his home was raided by HSA and while he was being investigated by the JD himself. Both had to at least have been educational experiences.

The GOP no longer needs him.

They might consider impeachment now - so that they can run in 2018 saying that they did the right thing.

I think the Republicans are afraid of his base and how they might retaliate by just not voting in 2018 or 2020. Republicans can’t win in some districts without them. And Pence would sign anything the Republicans want, so they have not really needed Trump.

...aside from killing the ACA, that they really crave. Now Trump is dispensible.

Pence, however, is in trouble of his own as long as Mueller still has a job. Pence led the transition and is in certain things up to his neck.
