The House of Cards is collapsing and the WH knows it. Which is the why of all the effort to discredit the FBI and Mueller's investigative team. McGahn decided not to go down with the Trump Titanic. From the sounds of it, Priebus made the same decision since P. and McGahn share the same lawyer.
McGahn investigated Flynn's liability after his meeting with Sally Yates, decided the legal liability was significant and informed the WH accordingly. Which means Trump and Pence knew, lied to the American public and showed intent on obstruction charges. McGahn wisely put all this in writing because . . . he may be a weasel lawyer attempting to stack the courts but he's no fool or Trump Jester. Trump made a mistake trying to shift blame for the Flynn debacle onto McGahn and his team. Disloyalty breeds disloyalty.

The rats, they are a-running in full panic mode. Once Flynn flipped, they were all put in jeopardy. They know it. Mueller knows it. And apparently, McCabe offered a flourish the other day by informing the Intelligence Committee that he was privy to Comey's interactions with Trump in real time, that he was one of the 'high officials' that Comey confided in after those friendly/unfriendly meetings.
We wonder why the GOP jammed the tax bill through? This was a smash and grab operation before the walls come crashing down.
