Once again, having Republicans in control of all three branches of government may well lead to consequences most people didn't expect.

As far back as the 1960s, ultra-conservative groups like the John Birch Society have called for the disbandment of the UN. Those calls have never ended, and continue today. It's not a matter of what Putin would like, frankly. It's just an insane notion the far right has held for decades.

With Trump in office and with Republicans in control of both houses of Congress, it could finally happen. It would be a disaster.

4. Would not surprise me as Trump works to sink the US under Putin's command. Give Trump some

more time as the worldview of the US sinks/fades into the sunset. The new world leader is China, not the US. The US had a good run of it after WWII, big dog in the arena, but now that is history. Trump, is marching along to his orders as a Russian agent IMO!
Eventually, it will be the world against the US with Trump at the helm.
