Steve Bannon drops the bombshell
After a year of denials from Team Trump, Steve Bannon has finally come right out and stated that Jared Kushner is guilty of collusion in an interview with Vanity Fair. Politico reports:
[Kushner was] taking meetings with Russians to get additional stuff. This tells you everything about Jared, Bannon told the magazines Gabriel Sherman. They were looking for the picture of Hillary Clinton taking the bag of cash from Putin.

(4,066 posts)Couldn't happen to a more deserving set of people.
The question is - was Jared smart enough to keep dirt on Bannon that he can use now. I'm going to bet he actually wasn't.

(17,984 posts)I don't understand how this furthers his cause. He airs his petty grievances with Kushner and damns the administration? That's what it seems like to me. Is this a one year affair with tRump that has now gone south and he couldn't care less about his erstwhile lover?

(8,133 posts)narcissism or borderline. They do wacky things and "turn against" people on a dime. Then, suddenly, they will like the person again. They are very manipulative and cause havoc in people's lives.

(19,969 posts)he also involved in Cambridge Analytica ? Surely Kushner (who isn't averse to dropping stuff to journalists) is going to drop something on Bannon ?

(17,984 posts)Steve, you were there, too. I'm not going to believe you were totally unaware of what was going on.

(397 posts)Tin pot dictators like Bannon always represent a threat. From being on the inside- and Trumps right hand man, Bannon has been cast out, rejected and his influence is starting to wain.
When people who revel in the power they hold, when they see it being taken away, they lash out - determined to make their mark. It is revenge with the added advantage of ensuring a name in history.
He would have liked to go down in history as the man who bought the Republican Party to ascendency and as the man behind the crown. Denied that opportunity, the next most memorable thing he can do is tear it down.
Expect similar - but more dangerous behaviour from Trump. He would rather be remembered for world war three than as a failed president, too stupid and at out of his depth to achieve or comprehend anything. Unless he is swiftly brought to justice and contained, his revenge will damage the USA for generations

(11,885 posts)Told everyone what hates groups he met with before Charlottesville happened yet? Has he admitted what hate groups he belongs too, or supports? Has he talked about going overseas to meet with hate groups? Everyone should take anything he says as you do with what trump says , its always to make himself look better bending or ignoring the truth to do it. He is another fraud promoting himself with propaganda , hate, and fear, and again like trump does, and acts as if he and only he has all the answers. Cons stick together for only so long , then they always turn against everyone, and trump soon will be doing that to him. Remember he backs pedophiles.
