2. Fighting Prejudice

Legislation against prejudice must be enacted and enforced, BUT

The only way to truly defeat prejudice is on the ground, with personal contact. I am 60-year-old white male and have seen more of it than I can stomach. I have had two serious relationships with black women, one coming very close to marriage.

Keep being proud of your relationship. Haters are gonna hate, but the more people see your love, the more they will come to realize color does not matter. I am tall, but my wife was short. That is just as meaningless as your wife and you being different colors.

In the same time, it makes me sad.

I mean, why do we still have to point interracial relations?

What I see : a man, a woman. They are happy together, it is a pleasure to watch them for what they are. Not because of the interracial.

By the way, I still don't understand what mean interracial. We all are from one race : humankind.

As humans we did wonderful things : scientific progress, social progress, medical advances, we walked on the Moon, before next century we will walk on Mars,...

But still, we have to deal with that stupid matter : the color of the skin. As if it could define or prove anything !!!
