The GOP is an economic, cultural and social terrorist organization. They threaten anyone who does NOT support their way with political annihilation.

(220 posts)Hi,
The Republican Horde will take over if we let them. We must fight back now any way that is possible.
Their cultural vision of you & me are of slaves bowing down to them. We can not let this happen, Fight back & do more than just vote.

(53,661 posts)Ants are quite bothersome. I remember on a job one day when it's rained and I was out in the mud, they went up my pants leg. To get out of the 'rain, boom, boom, boom.' And started to bite me, too, the little suckers!
Had to flee to the nearest gas station restroom and strip. Auugh! I've never been much in favor of kiling them.. but they can be evil little things. Ants in the pants of Republicans... That might serve to annoy them as much as they do us. Sick, sick, sick. And what would be worse, they might strip. Which would definitely be terrorism from which innocent eyes might never recover.
BTW, the hell with Republicans...

(1,374 posts)Too many people treat politics like a game. They've chosen sides and will never change their mind. Most have chosen their party due to peer pressure from family and friends because they really don't pay attention to the news or politics and they just go with the flow.
I think the right-wing efforts to pretend they are the only choice for Christians is another factor.
Also, all they have to do is turn on Faux News to get propaganda that legitimizes their irrational opinions. It's a lot easier to have someone tell you what to think, especially when you have no time to pay close attention.
I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out why they're so unreasonable and buy into the bullshit without bothering to think. Probably too much time. Some people are a lost cause when it comes to politics.

It's quite sad politics is treated in the US like a sport rather than intelligent dialogs on what is best for the country and "ALL" of the people.

(15,438 posts)They're fine with welfare, food aid, unemployment extensions, social security disability, etc. They believe in those programs, too. What they don't believe in is, people of color or of another ethnicity not of the pink-skinned variety, should not have access to these American programs (note: they believe being an American is being White only).

(10,602 posts)If just seems to me that every time anyone who is a high profile individual and is in the public forum scores a hit on their sadistic unAmerican agenda, the RW sychophants do a "Rushdie" on them in the form of a political fatwa. Frequently that individual or organization has to go undercover because of the thousands of death threats they receive as a consequence of exercising their right to free speech.
The GOP can say any hateful, racist, bigoted, threatening or incendiary thing it wants almost without challenge. But let someone or organization legitimately criticize any of their bullshit policies and the GOP and its allies almost want them executed on the spot. They just go homicidal.

Koch, NRA, Bain, EIB, RNCC, RNC, RNSC, Bob Jones, etc.
Every one of them are corrupt and is responsible for this declining revenue of America today and unnecessary spending on useless crap like the defense and the wars.
Since the Republicans are so fond of legislating women's bodies, then they need to be charged for practicing medicine without a license.

(60,567 posts)Once upon a time people lived in societies that were unequal and oppressive, where the rich got richer and the poor got exploited. Chattel slavery, child labor, economic inequality, racism, sexism and discriminations of all types abounded until the liberal tradition of fairness, justice, care and equality brought about a free and fair society. And now conservatives want to turn back the clock in the name of greed and God.
Once upon a time people lived in societies that embraced values and tradition, where people took personal responsibility, worked hard, enjoyed the fruits of their labor and through charity helped those in need. Marriage, family, faith, honor, loyalty, sanctity, and respect for authority and the rule of law brought about a free and fair society. But then liberals came along and destroyed everything in the name of progress and utopian social engineering....
