Roy Moore is refusing to concede. Trump repeatedly said that, if he lost, he’d refuse to concede. 2 sexual predators proving they can’t accept no for an answer, regardless of the circumstances. Meanwhile, people are telling Hillary to go away. -OhNoSheTwint

A concession is merely a polite response from the defeated. As Mr. Moore is not polite, we should not expect such a thing from him.

Instead, I approve of continuous, unbridled ridicule.

Laugh at him. Laugh at them all. And pile on the ridicule.

They were a number of fraudulent claims of voter fraud. One about a busload of Mexicans voting (didn't happen), about buses of African Americans coming in from out of state to vote (didn't happen), about a town of 2,700 people where more than 5,000 votes were counted (turns out the town itself doesn't exist). So they certified the election. Good luck Roy Moore (may you rot in a hell of your own making).

Thank you, sheshe. It was interesting to hear a state official, who was probably a Republican, glad to have a chance to communicate on a national broadcaster that they take every accusation of voter fraud seriously, but they were shocked to encounter the fake news that they were encountering in their investigation of voter fraud claims. I don't watch TV, and I find a good newspaper and good radio journalism are the two best sources of real information. I am dismayed by the constant drumbeat against the MSM on DU, when any serious person can find consistently good sources of information if they just pay attention. People complain about NPR because they let right wing elected officials express their opinions. To me, that is a real source of information. I can make my own decision about the truth and reliability of each person they interview.

Moore is just doing what Trump would have done if he lost. Not concede. Allege rigging. Sue. Say the election was invalid.

In sum, attempt to invalidate democracy as an inherently corruptible process. The underlying inference is that it's actually an evil institution that awards cheaters, so do away with it. Of course its unstated, but thats what refusal to concede, despite all legal processes followed, amounts to.

We minimize it with Moore because the worst risk is that he incites violence by a small handful of Alabama voters. That's a pointless effort.

But Trump would deliberately do whatever is necessary, in subtle, manipulative fashion, to stir up conflict amoung supporters as necessary. He threatened to do just that, and I recall his supporters ready to take up arms in armed conflict.

Now my recollection of the US as it existed prior to Trump's heinous rise is that the GOP would have shut that down with overwhelming pressure, because this is America. That assumption is now gone. The GOP, as a group, will be either silent or conplicit in aiding that type of effort.

tldr; Knowing they are the minority party demographically and extremely vulnerable, it should be assumed that Trump and the GOP will go to any lengths to maintain power, including violating all norms of democratic rule and suppressing dissent.
