This has to go to the top of the list of Trump's psychotic delusions

Joy Reid @JoyAnnReid 10h10 hours ago

4. Trump thinks he is still the star of a TV show, and that the media has the power to decide who wins elections, based on ratings. Seriously:

...I haven't seen an answer yet from the Times.

Right now it looks like NYT is sitting on the full interview, content with these selected excerpts to, I suppose, tidy-up this bizarre string of nonsense from Trump, but it's hard to argue that these were the good bits.

Same when he was a tv host. Same, same, same during his entire life. He will not change but is getting worse. He has a group of insane supporters, the insane GOPs, insane billionaires and insane so called "Christians".

Someone with an ego like tRump’s requires a lot of praise and a$$ kissing in order to stay in his good graces. His moods are very much controlled by his perception of the love shown to him. Hence the adoration fest last week with folks not usually given to that kind of verbal massage therapy.

The Repubs have figured him out. Keep him happy and under the impression he is loved and adored (like Dear Leader) and he is all happy chappy, but woe to those who do not kiss the ring, for they must be punished.

I am sure our resident our resident psychologists and psychiatrists could explain in better technical terms what is happening here. But the bottom line is he is bottomless pit of need. Tony Schwartz was right. The hole that is located where his heart used to be can be filled to the brim and by late tonight, or early tomorrow, he needs a refill. Without it he has a sad. Someone must pay.

Heaven help us all, because he seems to be getting worse by the day. Not sure how it will end, but I can’t imagine it turning out better than it began. 😞

Trump is great for the news media - and they were desirous to see him win.
