As someone commented yesterday, he made his name as a court attorney and, I suppose, as a Harvard lecturer, but he is not a Constitutional expert.

3. Dershowitz' expertise is in criminal defense litigation

and civil liberties law. There's no question that he knows his stuff in those areas, but his defense of Trump, which I suppose is based on his defense bias, seems over the top and I don't understand why he's so vehement - except that he also really, really likes publicity and controversy.
