OK I just realized Ivanka is a narcissist also.

If she thinks she deserves to be president without doing a single thing to qualify herself for that job, she must have be as delusional as her father is, and have a grossly inflated ego.

She's too qualified to qualify. It will be Sarah Palin. The Palin family is being groomed. I expect more lowbrow misdeeds from them.

The only one keeping her from having the title of Most Narcissistic Person in Washington is her father.

The adoring daughter who massages daddy's ego no matter how horrible he is. But she married a version of him and became just like him herself.

elected public servant. Something my wife laughs at me about regularly. Obviously being the smartest Trump by far means very, very, very little.

Was always pretty obvious to me. They basically want to set up what the Kims have in Korea.

Hopefully it unravels quickly so the Trump name is forever stained and banned from public office.

1. Ivanka Trump used to be BFF's with Chelsea Clinton.
2. Ivanka watched in silence as her father try to destroy her mother and father during the campaign.
3. Ivanka's father still publicly states that Chelsea's mother should be arrested, tried, convicted, and put in jail -- for the temerity of running against Ivanka's father for president.
4. Now instead of Chelsea's mother (who did win the popular vote) being the first woman president of the United States, Ivanka Trump wants that status and honor.

If you can throw a former best friend under the bus, you are beyond contempt.

whether or not she would "still" be a Trump. Not the last name as a last name but the name as a brand - as the status - of being a Trump. That's what she worried about. Not the pain divorce can cause. Not what it was doing to her family or her mother - but how it would impact her as a "somebody" because of the last name association.

I think that pretty much tells us all we need to know about her.

what that privilege is.

White privilege has been talked about a lot here. I'm white. I try to remember that I am privileged.

Heck, I have an old white lady privilege when it comes to traffic stops. I never get a ticket. Every other year or so I get stopped for speeding or not stopping at a stop sign fully, and invariably I get a warning. I am always as respectful as every single one of us is at a traffic stop, but I'm an older white lady. And I live in a state (New Mexico) where mothers and grandmothers are treated with a great deal of respect. And at my age, with white hair, I look like the cop's grandmother. And I'm yet to be stopped by a man willing to ticket grandma.

I am VERY aware that this is the old white lady privilege at its finest. There are probably plenty of other times when my age, gender, or race privilege has kicked in and I've never noticed.
