Sessions DOJ pot plans will increase younger voter turnout in 2018

We have seen in recent elections that the younger voters have been much more active in the off-season elections. Virginia, NJ, etc. But states like California, Colorado, Florida, where the legal pot movement is moving forward have House districts with Republicans that are vulnerable. If the 18-35 year old crowd have another reason (besides the orange turd in the WH) to vote this fall it will be this issue.

Blue Wave 2018!!

The list of groups already pissed was already a long one. It just got longer.

I predict more Republican Congressmen and Senators will retire

I ask because I recall reading an article here on DU about apathetic voters in that state

apathy towards other more important issues

IIRC, the article was about folks too lazy or didn't care to get out to vote in midterms.

I bet there are plenty of people over 35 who won't be happy about this either...

And who support legalization of pot.

Add in the business interests and the rapidly increasing medical usage, and it could be a hot-button issue for a good cross-section of the population in many states.
