Hannity rejects claims in Wolff book: 'I never provided questions ahead of time to any candidate'

Fox News host Sean Hannity is pushing back on claims in Michael Wolff's explosive new book that he was willing to give President Trump interview questions in advance and was going to work for the administration.

"I never provided questions ahead of time to President Trump and never said I was going to quit my longtime, successful TV and radio career to work for his administration," Hannity said in a statement provided to The Hill through a network spokesperson.

According to the excerpt of "Fire and Fury," Trump conducted an interview with Hannity in Air National Guard base in Harrisburg, Pa. last Oct 12 after the host allegedly expressed his willingness to supply his questions in advance.

Wolff's book has dominated cable news since excerpts began leaking on Wednesday, as many have questioned its sourcing and fact-checking.

Of course we all believe him.

The scandalous "Donna Brazile told Hillary Clinton ahead of the Flint debate that there was going to be a question about drinking water" issue still resonates in some corners of the conservawhackosphere. I'm guessing that Hannity did indeed provide questions in advance of any interview with Trump.

Funny how that's the one thing Hannity is most concerned with.

Any politician going to Flint should expect a question about drinking water and be prepared to answer it. The notion that Brazile tipped off Clinton to this super-secret gotcha question is ludicrous. It's like a post-game interview where someone tells the losing quarterback as he approaches the podium, "They're probably gonna ask you about that interception you threw that iced the game for the other team." Well no shit, Sherlock!

He just ordered a staffer to send the questions over to Trump, and probably filled in all the answers as well.

Chris Matthews had with Trump during the campaign in that Town Hall setting where he asked Trump his views on abortion, and Trump's responses were terrible. Like he hadn't had an entire lifetime to formulate a coherent viewpoint on abortion. Since he was now a born again Repuglican he most certainly should have known the line stock, born again, evangelical Repuglican response and he blew it. The man can't put together a coherent sentence of five words or less if his child's life depended on it. Of course Hannity provided Trump interview questions in advance.

Harry Shearer used to have a clip form the satellite feed that he used during his "found objects" segment. It featured Sean, during his despicable media circus camp-out of the hospice in the Terry Schiavo mess.
Sean not only gave his questions to the "pro life" nuts trying to keep Schiavo a vegetable forever, he advised them on just how to answer and take part in the fake "debates" he was planning on his show with Colmes.

Apparently this used to be a "thing" on TV. They knew Shearer watched feeds and exposed the behind the scenes stuff. I heard this when Arianna Huffington and Al Franken were doing "Strange Bedfellows" on Bill Maher's ABC show Politically Incorrect"

One thing I used to crack up about with Hannity was when a guest didn't go along with the script or threw something back in his face - his head would drop straight down towards the papers he was holding hoping for some new magic words would appear. He also used to chew his pen live on TV.
