Michael Wolff just singlehandedly extended the Mueller investigation. DC and NY are one party consent jurisdictions. He has tapes of statements by Sr. WH officials that may corroborate or conflict with statements made under oath to Mueller, raising the liklihood of perjury.
Axios reported that author Michael Wolff recorded interviews with individuals including former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon and former White House deputy chief of staff Katie Walsh.
The officials in some cases thought they were conducting off-the-record interviews, according to Axios.
Excerpts of the book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," were released Wednesday.
In the book, Bannon reportedly calls a 2016 meeting at Trump Tower between people including Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer "treasonous" and "unpatriotic."

(146,329 posts)CD or DVD form and sold to whoever wants them. They could also be hosted online for streaming by anyone interested in them. Were I Michael Wolff, I think I'd do just that. He could cash in some more on his work and make these historical interviews available for public perusal.
I suspect they'd win the Grammy in the Spoken Word category, as well.

(16,789 posts)Extended the Mueller Russia Investigation. There are more people Mueller will want to talk to on the record before the Grand Jury.
It will be my guess that by mid February or sooner, more indictments will be forthcoming. Who could be indicted? I also could be wrong here.
Donald Trump Jr.....For his role in taking the meeting with Putin related officials to get dirt on Hillary Clinton, then saying that it was about adoptions. For his possible role in money laundering of Russian money via the Trump Organization.
AG Jeff Sessions....for Perjury before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Obstruction of Justice, demanding dirt on Jim Comey to justify his firing by Trump.
Jared Kushner...Obstruction of Justice in regards on the July 2017 advice for the "excuse" letter regarding the June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower, Money Laundering.
Don McGahn....White House Counsel for his role in trying to convince Sessions not to recuse himself from overseeing the Russia investigation on Trump's behalf.
just to name a few. The noose is tightening around the neck of Donald Trump, that is for sure.
