Come to think of it, Trump has actually confirmed @jaketapper's point about Stephen Miller:

"There’s one viewer that you care about right now and you're being obsequious ... in order to please him"

But Miller was talking non-stop about nonsense. It's hard to pin somebody down who won't stop talking over you. (I know; an ex-friend of mine is just like that.) Tapper finally ended the interview in frustration.
