Trump also had such zero experience, but a lot of people were bamboozled by the "successful business man" bullshit.

of support for Oprah running for president until after this speech

and how can you compare Obama to Oprah (no offense Oprah), Obama's entire trajectory was in Public Service

Oprah is a self made women whose greatest attribute to the masses is her celebrity

just like Obama did even though it was the DNC Speech which started the talk of him as President.

and yes, his was in public service and particularly elected office which made him more likely to run.

but she does have many accomplishments other than just the speech.

A mega-wonk of policy, politics, and economics. Someone who knows the gears and bearings, and can repair the destruction the republicans and their tsars have wrought.

This is why I'm not resistant to having an old hand that knows the workings of our government in charge.

It’s insulting that a single member of this board would give any serious consideration to this nonsense.

A rich celebrity is the LAST FUCKING THING the Democrats need to nominate for POTUS.

We are getting brutally ripped inside out by the orange vomit monster and the last thing Democrats should do, if they ever want to be taken seriously, is even consider nominating a rich, however nice, celebrity to ANY office.

Are you people listening to yourselves? Absolutely ridiculous!

She's wealthy beyond belief, but what does she do with it?

She supports all sorts of quack medical therapies. For Christ sakes, she supports that lunatic and utter charlatan, John of God. That alone should be disqualifying!

Then there's Dr. Phil -- "I was the worst marriage counselor on the planet." So what does he do for Oprah? Fucking marriage counseling!!!

And don't get me started about Dr. Oz, who doesn't care which quack therapies he promotes.

We dont need another fucking idiot in the White House!

Just no on Oprah! I dont want her anywhere near government, let alone my TV.

Everything she's accomplished, including a net worth as high as DT's, has come through her own brains and determination. But she has NEVER forgotten what she went to get where she is now, or the ordinary people who are still struggling.

DT is a phony -- a rich man who'd have made more money if he'd just invested his inheritance in the stock market.

She's the real thing. An American success story who inspires millions.

She supports quack medicine. She knows nothing about science. She supports lunatics like John of God, Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz.

That means I must oppose her politically with every fiber of my body.

No doubt, policy is unimportant when contrasted to fad and popularity to a dogmatic mind. I can certainly see why you'd ignore that aspect.

She'd be far down on my list of potential candidates, but I don't pretend to have enough absolute knowledge to call her an idiot, no doubt-- many others possess that pretense. In quantity. Along with the hyperbole.

Good on ya; I'm certain you'll allege it's not pretense on your par though...

You will find Oprah's fawning video. Then you'll see his psychic surgery, and his megachurch scam. Oprah is an ignorant buffoon in her support.

Then, there's Jenny McCarthy, who has a body count with her anti-vaccination idiocy. Oprah supports her, too.

That's pretty much the definition of idiocy.
