Kelli Ward is as crazy as he is. They may split the crazy vote and Rep. Martha McSally, who is a hardline conservative, without their level of nuttiness (and she's a retired Air Force combat pilot) could grab the nomination.

He was popular for a long time as Broward Sherriff, invested in military-type gear, a private jet, and a branch office in Colombia as part of the war on drugs. The people of Broward eventually grew tired of his schtick. I get the feeling that a good number of Arizonans are over Arpaio at this point.

Now, I don’t think Joe Fucking Arpaio has a dog’s chance in hell of winning anything. Which is exactly why, if I were an Arizonan (all respect, your state is beautiful, Tucson and Flagstaff are big favorites), I’d start cranking like you’re under assault.
