Her dad was a fairly successful businessman in Slovenia and by virtue of being a member of the communist party there, may have valuable connections to Russia. Not sure of this at all, but I think her family and son are much more important to her than her husband.

If Trump and by his office has control over her family's future, she will be very hesitant to pull the plug.
