A question about the Mueller investigation

During the course of this case, various people have been interviewed by the Special Counsel's office. These include Manafort, Papadopolous, Flynn, Gates, Hope Hicks, Sessions, et al.

When these people are being interviewed, does Robert Mueller conduct the deposition? Or does he have his specialists ask their questions in some sort of sequence?

I think it would be odd if Mr. Mueller did much more than observe the witness and draw conclusions from their answers, body language, demeanor, etc. Certainly, if he had a specific question, he would ask it but I doubt that he actually conducts the interview.

1. Pretty sure I read that teams of investigators would rotate in to question the witness.

Mueller would occasionally come into the room, and sit in a chair along the wall.

what you mentioned. Mueller has Investigators whom are specialists in specific areas,and in that,anyone who gets the invite to a sit-down would not have any idea as to who will show up across the table.
