Probably there are a lot of DUers who have never read Lewis's novel. I have. It's definitely a cautionary tale for these times.

I had an old copy that was falling apart and unreadable. I went to the library to get their copy. They are friends there and former colleagues, so they let me roam around all the nooks and crannies. I had to get this book out of the attic, where it was in a random pile of books. It was very hot up there that day.
It was worth the reread.
