(52,243 posts)Or enforce them weakly. Thats actually a legitimate role of the executive branch, to decide the resources to dedicate to the enforcement of various laws, which may include not enforcing certain laws at all.
If we had a functioning republic, congress would refuse to pass some law Donnie wanted in order to force his hand.
But we dont, so Donnie gets away with yet more pro-putin crap.
