This may help.
A shortie on the doings at the FBI.

...but while people worry Wray may be less than a good guy, his actions thus far are incredibly comforting.
After he pushed James Baker aside he appointed someone SURE to rankle Trump. The U.S. Attorney closest to Mueller's investigation. Dana Boente.

Today, immediately after apparently nudging McCabe out the door, Wray announced his replacement...
...and the guy he picked is in many ways Trump's worst nightmare.
David Bowditch. An FBI career man. A mini-Mueller.

The whole thread isn't too long. Just open a link to the first tweet I posted and scroll down to read it all.

(4,544 posts)We both felt better. I follow The Hoarse Whisperer, and he's a good guy.
Thanks for posting this here for others to see. It's important not to become discouraged. When we become discouraged, demoralized, lose hope... that's when we begin to give up. We can't do that! We must keep hope alive and eyes on the prize. Steady on, patriots.

(297,275 posts)I just saw McCabe is reaching full retirement in Marchish.. and he turns 50 May 5th.. nice and young for full retirement.

(129,068 posts)No problem!
With FBI Agent being a Law Enforcement position, his was in an age 50 w/20 years of service for full retirement position (although I expect most stay around). Not sure how they would process his paperwork though - i.e., if they let him do it as a voluntary (early with a couple months reduction) retirement or just a resignation from service where he could come back to federal service at some point and not collect any FERS supplement payments yet.
But then I just thought of this as some have talked about banked annual leave use and "early" retirement - I *BET* he has banked SICK LEAVE, which actually goes towards your years of service. Hell, I had about 6 weeks of sick leave that added about a month to my service time and most (healthy) men tend to have a year or more of SL banked that could be added to his time in service - meaning not only enough to get to the "March" date, but he probably had enough to get to his May 50th birthday date too.

p.s. Bowditch is so perfect an appointee, I'm LOLing
Wray just took Trump's rhetoric and shoved it down his throat by appointing someone who it would be absurd to criticize
The guy is a mini-Mueller. Wray replaced McCabe with someone even worse for Trump

(129,068 posts)and I found it from other posters on DU who post Scott Dworkin (and others) threads. I think there are a couple sites out there but it makes it so easy to read the thread stream!
If you go to the front page of that reader site, they list a bunch of the most popular threaded tweets including some of Hoarse Whisper's.

(15,286 posts)Wasn't their speculation that he'd been pushed out of his EDVA job by Trump et al? If so, this job would offer a chance at some pretty sweet revenge.
