Holder warns FBI employees: Be strong, your integrity will be unfairly questioned

Former Attorney General Eric Holder urged career employees of the FBI and Justice Department to "be prepared, be strong" in the face of unfair accusations in an ominous late-night tweet.

"To the career men & women at DOJ/FBI: your actions and integrity will be unfairly questioned. Be prepared, be strong. Duty. Honor. Country," Holder, an Obama administration attorney general, tweeted early Friday morning.

3. And yet...what did the administration DO to prevent all this from happening?

They kept quiet, when they knew that Russia was working to get the opposition elected, so they didn't appear to be partisan.

NOW do they see that appearing to be partisan doesn't matter? What matters is what happens. What occurs. Events. Not appearance.

We are seeing an all-out attack against the DOJ and FBI by our very own senators and representatives. It certainly appears partisan because it IS partisan. In the end, that doesn't matter, does it? What matters is what HAPPENS.

This is just too much. As for the bad guys not getting re-elected, Ryan said he may not run for re-election, anyway. And if the Repubs lose seats, well, they already got everything they wanted (and more). They leave to go to plum jobs at high pay...in pharma, in financial companies, in other businesses who will reward them for the huge tax cuts, and to Trump jobs.

I hope the Dem leadership starts getting tough. I don't see how Schiff takes it. It seems sometimes that he alone is carrying the torch. Where are Pelosi and Schumer? Why aren't they railing all over tv about what's happening? I don't see how Mueller survives this, either. This is so distressing.
