...this is a livefeed that the Trump campaign is putting out for it's supporters.

And, yes, it's perfectly legal. All contributions are a matter of public record.

Add to which, the names they'll be posting are small donors, not fatcats and lobbyists.

recording the live feed to get the names. They can always turn the audio off and just sit there and start writing down the names.

My response to the message is that, if it is truly about the people and not you, why are you asking them to send you money? It is like when you get a notice that you won something but they want you to send money to ship the item to you.
