The rule of law has broken down.

For purely political reasons, the House Intel Committee makes up a memo as an excuse to get rid of the Deputy Attorney General and to please the rabid base. They refuse to let the Justice Dept or the FBI see the memo. They refuse any Democratic input in the process.

Donald Trump publicly and overtly interferes with the investigation against him by calling up his Justice Dept and making threats to different individuals and firing anyone that might interfere with his plans.

The Senate passes a "sanctions" bill against Russia by a vote of 98-2 and Trump simply ignores it! Law? Fuck your law!!

Trump is the emperor of the new Republica Party. Whoever stands in his way or disagrees with him, or do something to upset him gets fired, demoted, devastated, bullied and harassed. He now controls the House and Senate to the extent that he even has those members ignoring laws and working solely for his purpose; and they don't care about the consequences. He is dismantling the DOJ and the FBI to set up only his loyal minions to do his bidding. The supreme court is next.He has placed Putin in a position to do whatever he wants to the U.S. at his whim, and Putin is pleased.

This is really freaking me out today. When will we be rescued from this whirlpool that is sucking us down?! It's like standing on cliff and seeing a huge wave coming right for you. I'm starting to fear that nothing or NO ONE is going to save us. We are all going to get swept out to sea.

The FBI is supposed to be afraid of Congressional and Judicial oversight. Congress is supposed to fear our informed votes. Judges are supposed to fear impeachment. Media are supposed to fear being scooped/busted by competitors. A president is supposed to fear impeachment. All are supposed to fear honest media.

When we let the money in, we guaranteed that all the legs of this stool would be undermined, and here we are hoping that the organization that brought us COINTELPRO can help undo our colossal electoral fuck-up.

It's more or less our last stand.
