Trump 'Cheats Like Hell' at Golf, Says LPGA Star, Who Questions His Business Acumen

President Donald Trump “cheats like hell” when he plays golf and is not nearly the caliber of player he claims to be, a top LPGA player told a Norwegian newspaper during an interview.

The Norway native also said Trump’s drives often look they are flying well off the fairway but somehow stay out of the rough—and suggested he might be paying his caddies to help him on the course.

"He always says he is the world's best putter. But in all the times I've played him, he's never come close to breaking 80," she said, according to golf.com. "But what's strange is that every time I talk to him he says he just golfed a 69, or that he set a new course record or won a club championship some place. I just laugh."

Great job. Even without the Norway giveaway I would have known these quotes sourced from her. Always outspoken, and sometimes gets in trouble for it, like at the Solheim Cup a few years ago with the incident with Allison Lee.

Unfortunately they are plenty of Trump shills on the LPGA, like Lexi Thompson.

Overall that tour is much more balanced than the heavy right wing PGA. I was happy Brittany Lincicome won the LPGA season opener last weekend, after she made some anti-Trump comments before last summer's US Open.

But I still get annoyed at some of them. I can no longer root for Gerina Piller or follow her around on the course, after I overheard her talk with husband Martin Piller about Colin Kaepernick late in 2016. Both of them savaged Kaepernick, saying he was unAmerican and didn't have any brains. Granted, Martin was saying most of it but Gerina contributed plenty and nodded agreement with everything her husband said. They appear together in a couple of commercials that I immediately fast forward through.
