"Schiff sent Dear Colleague letter to House members this morning inviting them to view Dem rebuttal"

Natasha Bertrand @NatashaBertrand - 1:10 PM - Jan 30, 2018

News: @RepAdamSchiff sent a Dear Colleague letter to all House members this morning inviting them to view the Democrats’ rebuttal memo, which he says “corrects the record and supplies context and detail absent from” the Nunes memo.
Members can view it after signing an NDA.

What better way to do that than to preempt anyone who would later claim it’s inaccurate, than to give them time before release to offer input?

Any classified intel exposed by the Spin Memo will be fair game for rebuttal.

Anything else can be covered under "Nunes lied."

Has already been sent to the FBI/NSA for redaction. So when the buffoons release the Nunes hatchet job Schiff can have his memo out within minutes.

Then the information will be public, common knowledge. The responsibility for that being in the public domain will be on republicans.
Why would the Democrats have to redact information that is public knowledge after the fact?
How can the Democrats dispute information if they are not referring to an allegation?

Generally it goes like this: If you hold a clearance and you know that something is classified, you are not permitted to discuss it in a non-classified environment even if it is “common knowledge”.

Being “common knowledge” does not remove classification and it doesn’t exempt people with clearances from following the rules. It’s just the way it is.

But I was a command security manager when I was in the Navy. I'd like to think if I had something classified that rebutted an attempt to destroy our country, I'd face the consequences.

Then again, I am in my 60s

and that was Feinstein's goal in going over Grassely's head and releasing the Fusion GPS testimony to the public. It will leak to the MSM even if it isn't specifically released to them.
