Nothing seems to gel until Maddow breaks it down

...and puts it all together again.

I watch and read all day about Trump abuses, and they do get reported by major dailies and other outlets, but NO ONE zooms in on incriminating reports like Rachael Maddow.

I daresay, the much of the state of the investigation and prosecution of Trump hangs on her ability to produce and broadcast her little news show. Following close on her heels are Lawrence and Joy, with their own intensely directed reporting.

They shame the rest of the news field with their diligence and excellence, and we are in their debt.

She's great, on her show and in person.

I wonder if Trump was seeking their counsel or forced to take counsel on how to take over the agencies and eradicating their independence.

I'm tired so forgive me for creepy thinking.

Something that might come out tomorrow or the next day? What's left? There is SO much breaking. If you blink, you lose track. I'm trying to explain this mess to my family, but this whole thing is getting so confusing that if you haven't kept track of names nothing makes sense. They are caught in a huge spider's web and all connected.

She allows them the forum to further expound on their reporting, then she puts everything in context. The only two news shows I watch are hers and Lawrence O'Donnell's. I also appreciate Joy Reid's interviewing skills.

I also like her relationship with NBC presidential historian Michael Beschloss, and with Rep. Adam Schiff.

people she works for are largely responsible for putting Trump in office. The corporate media allowed Trump to basically go unchallenged as he blasted his way through the primaries and Presidential election. As I remember, we were told Trump got more free air time (hundreds of minutes more than anyone else) because he was good for ratings. I'm not sure I believe that anymore, the media giants wanted Trump in office, that's why they promoted him. So I'm not sure what to make of Rachel. She says the right things but works for the wrong people.

While Gore was cheated out of the 2000 presidency, Bush was well-liked. Trump not only WAS NOT liked, he wasn't really taken seriously.

We also need to get rid of the electoral college. It is so out-dated.

Couldn't agree more. Give me some of that good olde timey who-what-when-where-why-how Murican journalism. Nobody does that better than Rachel these days. I mean, it works so well. Try it MSM. Your children may grow to not hate you.
