The Steele dossier was not the first or the only source of intel on Trump.

Republicans have been screaming for months about the Steele dossier, convinced that this document, which was partially financed by the Clinton campaign, was the sole source of an FBI conspiracy against Trump.

They're lying.

'FBI knew of collusion allegations during campaign'

But subsequent reporting, including by the Guardian and the New York Times, has shown that US intelligence agencies were prompted to investigate the issues before they received the dossier. The Guardian reported in April that foreign intelligence services, including Britain’s GCHQ, were among the first to alert US counterparts to contacts between Trump’s campaign and Kremlin operatives.

The New York Times reported last week that Australian officials passed information about a Trump foreign policy adviser, George Papadopoulos, to US counterparts after he bragged that Russia had compromising information about Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential candidate.

And if that isn't enough, the FBI has planted a mole inside the Trump organization:

They need to release that info and now.

2. The dossier is just a dossier.

A simple report. Reporting all various Trump crimes, conspiracies, collusions, cheats, etc with various degrees of backup and certainty. As any report might have. Tapping multiple sources - from official records to rumors. Republicans want to blame the dossier's investigators (and the dossier itself) for having uncovered vast corruption in all of Donald Trump's dealings - from what Russian hoodlums are giving him money to launder to what Russian hookers are peeing on his bed. And there are many more dossier's around the world just like this one. Trump cannot hide.
