Democrat Margaret Good is running to flip Florida House District 72 against Republican James Buchanan, son of Congressman Verne Buchanan. Trump won this district 50% to 46%. Joe Biden, the DLCC and Resistance organizations around the country are involved. To find out how you can get involved, visit any of the following links:

We just flipped a deep red Missouri seat that very few people knew about, so just imagine what we can do here with a little work. No effort, no contribution is too small. If nothing else, share this information on social media or, even better, call any progressive/Dem you know in the district to go out and vote.

(796 posts)Always sign up for Republican solicitations.
Send them $1.00. This costs them much more in processing fees. Then you get lots of mailings.
Why waste a stamp in replying--with a note? A half-dollar per stamp---when I contribute, it is usually $100. So, ten $.50 stamps is little ($5.00). Their side has to open the envelope, record this, enter into a data base, pay for future mailings, etc,.
In addition, it supports our wonderful postal workers.
When replying to a Repub Congress person, find out where his/her district is; type in a map for the district. Choose a town you would like to be from.
Go to Zillow. You will see the zipcode. Then you are in good standing for "contact us" and a likely voter.
Every House Representative has nominally 171,000 persons in his/her district. (Except in Wyoming and Alaska.) They get paid $175,000 per year--whether they are on vacation or not. ($$Millions more are paid by taxpayers for their staffs and perks.)
Our family can afford about $12,000 every year in donations to political causes (after annual support to the ACLU, FFRF, AU, PFAW, SPL), so we like to cost the opposition--with their greater money.
