Hubby cares for feral cats. Inky, Sadie and Sally came to us from his feral cat colony. We have cared for them for 13 years.

(11,443 posts)My two domestic cats passed on, but these two now hang around for food. I can actually catch one and managed to get it fixed along with annual shots. She is coming around but won't let anyone else near her. The other one a little more wild most of the time and only visits when hungry.

(17,243 posts)hr brought them home and we nursed them to good health.
he found INKY at his yard. she was a baby feral kitten and he brought her home too.
We did have one cat .... our Maine Coon cat girl Snickers. She was sick with cancer and she passed away just after he brought Taffy home.
So We lost Snicky but gained Annie, Taffy and Inky.
2 months later, Sadie was a sick little feral girl. He brought her home and we nursed her to health. 2 months later, he found Sally in his yard.
She was sick too and he brought her home. We took the kitty to the vet to help cure the kittens "cold"
Sally had a really bad upper respiratory infection and needed medicine and more dr visits.
The doctors told us 3 times Sally was a girl but ...he proved later to BE A BOY !!!
WE LOVE OUR RESCUE CATS and they adore us.

(24,078 posts)...had 5. Multiple chronic illnesses sent an 11 yr old male across the Rainbow Bridge - poor guy got the short end of the stick in the genetic department. We still have his sister, who never has any major problems.
If I weren't married, I'd probably have at least 6, but my husband keeps that from happening.

(1,240 posts)Me and my wife have 9 cats - most neighborhood strays that are always welcome when they don't have a home. Two are litter mates and the best of friends with each other.
