(25,902 posts)Walmart, that famous supporter of workers, who pays employees exceptionally well and makes sure that all of the people who work in factories overseas that make their goods are safe places that never exploit there employees. That Walmart?
Oh, now I remember. Walmart has been famously outsourcing everything they possibly can, teaching new employees how to sign up for food stamps, buying products from companies whose factories burn down killing hundreds trapped inside. THAT Walmart. Anyone who thinks Rachel Brand is leaving her government job to go to work for Walmart because she's some kind of liberal hero is ignorant. She's changing jobs because, among other things, she'll probably earn at least five times at Walmart than she did in her previous job, and she's going to be well versed in what's needed to help Walmart continue its horrific practices.
