Saturday Night Massacre Redux?

Since Trump had Walmart hire Rachel Brand (next in line under Rubenstein at DOJ) the time seems ripe for Trump to make his move, removing Rubenstein so that Noel John Francisco will be in charge of the Mueller investigation and he could fire him or drastically circumscribe the investigation's scope.

What's keeping him from doing this today? Mueller is getting ever closer. Everyone's eyes are on the Olympics. Trump is furious, lashing out at staff, the press, imagined and real enemies, the truth.

Perhaps only the disturbance with Kelly keeps him from going ahead today.
