Infrastructure spending will necessitate tax increases that will put the middle class and poorer people even poorer after the 5 year break expires.

and then raise sales tax a half a percent to pay the bonds. trickle down tax burden.

A couple mills on a "Roads and Bridges levy" to raise property taxes for the local portion of a match

again - trickle down tax burden.

So it's hard to say. They might issue bonds but the ability to raise taxes is very limited.

state tax deduction to $10000. The states that have high taxes are the blue states. The Republicans with the help of Fox and probably Russian bots will blame the Democrats in those states for the high taxes, next Republicans will take some of those states. You have to give them credit they have been working on these plans to take over this country since Reagan.

... It's gonna take years of sustained effort, election after election after election, to beat back the forces of ignorance, hubris and greed and keep them at bay and marginalized for the good of us all.

We need patience and a plan. A multi-year ground game.
