Decades ago, when I used to go to Las Vegas a lot, I got into a discussion about 2nd-hand smoke when some players at the table wanted to get the dealer to turn a non-smoking table (that I had specifically chosen, and was already sitting at when when arrived) into a smoking one.

The dealer tried to take the "hang loose, have fun" argument that it was like them bringing free drinks. I pointed out that no one was forcing anyone who didn't want it to have alcohol (which I am also allergic to, as I am with tobacco).

I told him if he wanted to extend HIS metaphor, I would be glad to share 2nd-hand Diet Pepsi with him at the table, rather than going to the men's room.
