(7,220 posts)National holiday and all. Besides, I have a sneaking suspicion that Muller & team are going to play this out a little at a time, strategically, monitoring the actions of those who are on their radar very closely.
Imagine this scenario: On Friday, or right before, Mueller's team apparently briefed the White House on the coming Russian indictments. Maybe the Feds took that opportunity to play trump for the fool he is. First, by subtly flattering him, and second, by playing a little stupid, i.e., act like they are confused about something they actually have all the details on. Then, sit back and watch Trump and his grifting family to see if they start making big financial transfers, bribing witnesses, deleting emails, etc.
Activity such as this would be the big, delicious cherry on top of Mueller's mounting pile of evidence.

Now they'll watch which way the guilty scramble to cover their asses but the thing is, Mueller already knows who they are and what they may have done. Even though those indicted that are of Russian nationality will never face a US court for those charges the bait is set. Only the guilty who volunteer information either to prevent indictment or to be offered a plea bargain will benefit from these new indictments. IMO
