Forty-five years ago playing double-deck (80 cards) pinochle we would

"oss hol", meaning thanks and good-bye in chinese. I can
not verify that, but will do some research. We would be trump-tight
and as we laid down our winners we would say "oss hol".

Of course the roles were often reversed.
