(6,496 posts)2. I highly recommend TuneIn Radio
http://tunein.com/
you can listen to ALL of the BBC channels and the rest of the world
it's a FREE app for your Android/IPhone
and you can use it on many of the desktop internet radios (have it on all my Logitech Squeezeboxes)

(101,318 posts)5. Here are possibilities:
Radio Five Live - sport and talk, but currently carrying the commentary of the GB v. Senegal soccer game: http://beta.bbc.co.uk/5live
Radio 4: News, documentaries and comedy - next news in 35 minutes, but no live comedy coming up soon http://beta.bbc.co.uk/radio4
London 94.9: talk radio, currently with a sport programme, but recorded, I think http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_london
TalkSport: http://www.talksport.co.uk/radioplayer/live/?popup=1 - seems to be doing a phone-in at the moment (with Danny Kelly, who does comedy, so he might mention it)
