It is impossible for an observer to manoeuvre to see any rainbow from water droplets at any angle other than the customary one of 42 degrees from the direction opposite the Sun.

But I just discovered this answering a science problem

(2,667 posts)in the grander scheme of things its just one more conformation that 42 is the correct answer. You might also ask yourself just how many things would constitute three dozen if we had been a more enlightened species.
